Wayman Wayman Wayman oh how I wish I could say some of this in person, but you are where you ended up by how you lived your life. Job well done! I love you, we all love you and Sandy. From day 1 when I first met you I think I was 16 you asked my name and then every time I’d see you out came that big smile and a Miiiiikkkkkeeee, usually followed by a hug or a handshake. That really meant the world to me as a kid. First impressions are everything to me and you left a huge one on me. You made camp fun, you made life fun. You were with me when I got my first broken nose in the locker room, I wanted to go back out there and whoop on the guy who elbowed me and you and your calm voice kept that from happening. 37 years and 6 days ago you officiated Lori and my wedding. You said repeat after me and I did even when you flubbed up one part, I repeated you word for word and you got that look with a huge smile. I bought my first car from you when I was 18
That Plymouth Volare.
You were also my boss, the day I bought the car you handed me my paycheck at the Sprouse Reitz we were working on. I walked down to the us bank and cashed it then back to the job site and gave you the $$ for the car.
You were our youth pastor and our friend. I wish we had kept in better communication.
You’ve done an amazing job with ALL the people you’ve touched. Rest easy my friend and say hello to Mr. Gibbs if you haven’t found him yet, y’all probably walked in together.
I love you my friend. Mike
